Influenster: imPress Manicure Canada VoxBox Review

Hey everyone! Have you heard of influenster before? It's this amazing website that sends out products for people to review. I've been signed up for a year or so and luckily the website has branched out to us Canadian girls. I've received other Vox Boxes (See here, here, and then here) and so when I got a pre-qualifying survey in my email, I was really excited! When I got the acceptance e-mail a couple of days later, I was excited to see what types of products I would get. To my luck, I received imPress Press-On Manicure sets! I say it was my luck because I literally took all my gel nails off this week, so it couldn't have been a more perfect time to use these :)

I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster

I received two different styles: HottieEvil Queen (part of their Villains line).
Hottie is a fuchsia base nail with neon green, neon yellow, neon pink, and silver lines and dots. I found these nails weird because I went to search them online and found two different styles for this. The other one was a darker purple? Odd. Evil Queen is a purple to green shifting duochrome. Very cool!

I decided to use Evil Queen to do my review on because I liked the duochrome finish and I think the other style is a bit too tacky for me.. Go figure.

I found these nails very easy to use. I first buffed my nails and then wiped them with the prep pads that came with the nails. I found all right sizes of nails that would fit perfectly over mine and set them aside. One by one, I carefully peeled off the clear backing on each nail and firmly pressed it onto my nails for 10 seconds to ensure a strong hold. I feel like there should be more steps, but there's not. That's all I had to do! It was quick and very simple.

The downfall to these, were they didn't last up to a week as the package says. I had 2 of them come off the next day. I also had a hard time with some of the clear backings coming off the nails. I had to use tweezers to rip them off! I wish these nails came with a little tube of glue for the people who like a little bit more adhesive. But then I don't know if that would even adhere the glue already on the back of the press-on nail to my actual nail.. I should test that out with the Hottie pair.
